During the Renaissance period, a lot of restorations based on past experiences in the world were realized. The medieval period also embraced these issues and gave light to the nature of life as portrayed in past encounters. Interestingly, both the value of the human such as the slave, the poor among others was adequately embraced especially during the middle ages. However, between 1400s-1650 extensive restoration has taken place. This paper focuses on explaining the process of restoration in Europe, especially between 1400s-1650. It captures events that took place in Europe to shape the dignity of human life that had been thwarted after several issues about the human race.

The restoration in Europe took place in Italian city-states. The return of knights from Crusades/Reconquista was associated with a broader world view. It led to the review of the classical texts that were preserved by Muslim scholars making the Byzantine scholars flee to Italy in 1453 after the fall of Constantinople.

The Protestant Reformation was the main concern that leads to the restoration in Europe. The Western Christian Church was split into the Roman Catholic and the Protestant. This allowed people to have freedom of worship as opposed to the subjection which they were exposed to in the previous years. Due to disputes, between the protestant and the Roman Catholic, a unified correlation was established enabling Christians to share their views freely.

Similarly, education also shifted from a religious focus and aimed at ensuring individual development. Several investments were made in the education system to boost the learning process as opposed to the Middle Age period where education was majorly for learning the basics of religion. This improves innovation and creativity in science and architecture as people approach the 1700s Enlightenment period. The 1400s-1650 restoration ensures explicit growth in investments in trade, intervention, science, and exploration.
