Suicide and depression among college student
Evaluation research, which is also known as a program evaluation, involves research where research purposes are used instead of a specific method. Evaluation research uses most traditional research methods and takes an organizational context that requires interpersonal skills, team skills, political smartness, management skills, and other skills not needed in social research.
The article’s suicide and depression among college students are evaluation research as it uses tools that are commonly used in evaluation research. The outcomes of the article answer the following questions
- i) How many? “The most cited causes of depression among students Who reported that they had experienced depression since coming to college were grade problems cited by 53%,..of the 1455” students survey and many more.
- ii) Who was involved? college students
iii) What were the outcomes?
The research’s major findings were that causes of depression among college students are grade problems, loneliness, and helplessness.
The research article is generally summative research or summative evaluation. The research measures changes in knowledge attitudes and behaviors of depression and suicide among college students. The research is mainly objective, and it is mainly done using quantitative based research. The methodology used to collect data is a specified step by step procedure, and it is carefully y designed and executed, ensuring the accuracy of the data. Stakeholders that were supposedly included in this research are college students. Other stakeholders that could have been included could have been Lecturers and professors who interact with students daily and, college administrators of chancellors and psychiatrists who attends to students who are depressed

The final major finding was that the Religious conduct dimension arises as a noteworthy dimension that ought to be incorporated- rated in psychological consideration of youthful understudies.
The research is formative as it uses both quantitative and qualitative methods. Quantitatively the research has generated numeric data designed to produce information that represents the intended audience “A sample of 800 students enrolled in their sixth semester and seventh of Bachelor of
Science/Arts program in four colleges of higher education department of Southern Punjab,
Pakistan was accessed using a two-stage sampling technique.” Qualitatively, the research verbal data is collected, describing the information that is rich in details and cannot be generalized to the entire population and or the intended audience. Three stakeholders that could have been important to the study are Imams, funders, and college administrators.
