Poor mental health
Access to mental health is a key consideration in our contemporary society. Poor mental health is attributed to the current social evils and events that we have witnessed in America – for instance, the shootings and general violence in America’s streets. Central to ensuring that access to mental health is made easier is the formulation and implementation of policies and laws geared towards the actualization of easy and affordable access to mental health in America. This paper aims to review important information and issues related to managed care from Ali Shana’s “Mental Health Parity in the US: Have We Made Any Real Progress?” article.
