Argumentative Essay on Air Pollution

The higher number of atmospheric pollutions affects the health status of the involved individuals and the general environmental surroundings both at the rural and urban settings. Both the developed and developing countries liked Bulgaria, India and China are among the countries that are experiencing higher cases of pollutant emission in their environment (Glinianaia et al., 2004).  However much they try to mitigate the environmental impact of pollutions, industrialized countries like the USA, United Kingdom and Germany are still struggling to the challenges of air pollution coming from artificial activities. Air pollution is a diverse and global challenge that affects both developed and developing countries across the world.

According to Dales et al. (2004), air pollution has resulted in about one out of nine deaths and is leading to higher early deaths due to the aspect of environmental risks. About seven million individuals die globally from the environmental risks, more than malaria, tuberculosis and HIV collectively. Approximately 90% of the global population are living in the regions characterized by higher pollution with India leading at the top 50 of the most polluted urban centres, Iran three and China eight in that order. Areas of Sab-Saharan Africa and Africa as a whole are deeply affected by the pollution even though there is little assessment so far.

Air population also poses a dangerous threat to the environment and health from tiny sources like hazes from rural homes to the lingering smog in the towns and large cities across the world.  According to Kampa & Castanas (2008), approximately seven million premature deaths are occurring every year concerning the combined effect of household and outdoor or ambient air pollutions. These deaths are happening because of increase mortality rates from the resulting diseases like lung cancer, cardiac diseases, stroke, acute respiratory infections and chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases. Posing more health hardness to the people will continue eradicating more lives if reliable strategies are not put to tasks.

There is a need to consider air pollution as a major challenge in the current world since it is continuing to destroy and disrupt the human-ecosystem before it reaches a diverse and uncontrollable stage. Pollution can occur and exist in many existing materials that would eventually impact on human health, plant life and animal originating from food, soil, water and air. It majorly occurs from the toxins lie carbon monoxide or even roadside noises and streetlights. The emissions of these toxic gases can only be eradicated through combined effort that enables reliable tackling strategies from just cleaning to eradicating the general gas emission in the environment (Manisalidis et al., 2020).

Even though pollution and its effect is a global challenge, its spread and diversification come with the effort of the people that are not taking into consideration the factors that would lead to the drastic change of the environmental conservation. Most countries are failing to mitigate and control the industrial emissions, home-based pollutions and the public gas productions across the world. The countries and individuals continue to ignore the potential impact of air pollution on their health and general environmental concerns. The five million individuals dying from air pollution are subjects to the total failures of other people (Woodruff et al., 2008).

In conclusion, air pollution can occur by chronic challenge if left without any reliable mitigations strategies. The resulting impacts of environmental pollution are diverse and include chronic health scenarios like lung cancer, cardiac diseases, stroke, acute respiratory infections and chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases. The impact can be either on land affecting humans, animals and plants or at the water grounds affecting the living creatures in that sector. These illustrations translate the factual evidence that law enforcement measures are required to be implemented to makes sure every individual understand the role of environmental conservation to prevent and reduce environmental pollutions. Air pollution is affecting the overall environment. Thus it is an imperative idea to incorporate law enforcement to help in building and sustaining a better air quality.
