my schooling journey and the opportunity
Undoubtedly, my schooling journey and the opportunity was incredible. Education is one of the social institutions that have given me a chance to know who I am and discovering my rights and opportunities in the contemporary world. I became a better individual through education, and more specifically, it helped me gain more knowledge in living with other people in the community. It shaped me in terms of character and skills required to succeed in life (Ritzer, 2014). Currently, I am pursuing a degree in Human Resource Management. One of the elements that fit my greater efficiency in my course is online learning. I love online classes for this course since I have worked in the corporate atmosphere and management for almost 18 years, making online learning easier. I widely know this field; thus, I do not have to sit in class to learn the resources required to get the degree (Hayes, 2017). I will read all the materials that the instructor told me to use to ensure that I perfectly end my degree in good grades. Furthermore, my knowledge will also increase through more online sources that are related to my course. I have learned to be independent and working hard on my own without a class instructor. I also have more time to bond with my family when I enroll in online classes.
One of the elements that do not fit my greater efficiency in education is class attendance. I feel like the time I spend to move from one place to another to attend all the classes is wasted. It is not very efficient for me to realize success in physical classes. Online studying does not waste a lot of time moving from school to home and moving from one class to another. Most instructors waste time trying to get into order for learning to start. I’m not too fond of this idea, and that is why I valued online classes for my course (Ritzer, 2014).
Generally, I can say that my experience in education is fairly efficient, particularly for the degree that I am currently taking. The course I am pursuing now has surely made me a better person with abroad knowledge in different fields in the current world (Hayes, 2017). Nonetheless, I can say that if I were pursuing another degree other than the one I am taking presently, I think I would not be where I am today. I can enroll in online learning in my current course. If I were pursuing a course such as computer science, online classes would be challenging for me, and I would not consider enrolling in online learning because it would not have been efficient for me. To prosper in education for any individual, it continuously depends on the needs that each one of us has. Each person needs to know the different styles of learning that fit personalities (Ritzer, 2014). For me, I am a kinesthetic learner in that I always learn new ideas when I am taught by someone. Due to the fact that I have studied and worked well in my present field of study, I have come to realize that online learning fits my current life efficiently. I learn so well online, and I can get the entire concept easily.
