Activist Speech
Across the world, people are protesting in the street demanding change. The change needed in the world is due to a lot of things. The world right now is in a pandemic. Coronavirus is affecting the lives of many. There needs to be a change in our livelihoods. People need to adhere to the rules and regulations set aside. The change is needed so that we can live a life of dignity.
To make change happen, one has to exercise the following: everyone needs to exercise their rights. Every citizen of a country has the right to free speech and a right to protest. For change to happen, the above rights need to put into use. These rights will help shape the world into a better place. The second thing we can all do is try and organize our community. Organizing the community brings room for better and clearer things to be conducted (Storm, 2015). One can organize the community through online platforms and conduct physical meetings that let one know the community’s issues.
It is important to expand your knowledge since you will be working with a different variety of people. It is important to read articles and books. Reading expands the knowledge and gives one view of things and actions that they can take. The more that people read, the more they get inspired to make change happen. In most of the issues that people care about, they usually not alone. It is important to involve people, such as family and friends (Hallet, 2019). Greater things are achieved when you work in numbers. One will make new friends in looking for a change.
Change is something that we should all fight for. It is important that we also value the opinions of everyone. Change is what will make the world greater again. It is important to follow the rules set aside by the government and health officers to fight the virus. The world would be full of dignity and equality if everyone rightfully did things.
