Discussion of the research problem.
The learning processes and experiences of learners are different, with educators expected to understand the factors that contribute to the success of their students to increase to chances of success. There is a general need to examine the influences and practices of school leadership in students’ performance by looking at teachers’ transformative roles as leaders. Through leadership, we can achieve both equity and justice that are essential for attaining the envisioned results.
The motivation of the study
Understanding the factors that lead to learners’ success with the aspect of knowing that the teachers as leaders have an immense role to play in the process motivated the study. The study seeks to examine whether the concept of transformative leadership has shown immense success in organizations, can be replicated in a learning environment, and the extent to which results will be attained once such is achieved.

The success of an educational journey for students is often viewed in terms of their ability to become better adults who can better society. Research Question
Does understanding the teaching and learning opportunities presented to students by teachers acting as transformative leaders contribute to their development and diversity?
The Conceptual Framework
The research will zero in on teachers’ transformational behaviors on the development of learners by espousing the notion that a teacher’s view on equity and justice will promote diversity and the development of the learners. The framework is based on Jack Mezirow theorization in the transformative leadership theory that the past and present learning opportunities of learners are connected to the success of the learners in their endeavors.
