There is power in having data to support change. The EBP process is one way of advancing improvement in health care. Identify three strategies that you will now incorporate into your practice based on this course. Explain your rationale.
One of the strategies is to aid clinicians to stay current on standardized, evidence-based protocols, which involves acquainting them with recent discoveries in their practice. This strategy is instrumental in the adoption of a patient-centered approach to treatment and enhances the quality of service. Also, I can employ the use of real-time data to make decisions and examine the gaps that are presented for deeper exploration and wider comprehension (Satterfield et al. 2009). Better access to data and extensive knowledge is possible through the use of technology such as decision support systems, electronic medical records, and data warehouses. Another strategy to embody is to enhance and develop transparency, value, and accountability because it is a requirement for better use of information by the stakeholders. The strategies explore above are incidental to the success of the evidence-based practice. The framework requires commitment from a personal perspective.

Discuss ways to make evidence-based practice projects sustainable. Describe the plans to maintain extent, revise, and discontinue a proposed solution after implementation.
Evidence-based practice bridges the gap between public health research and practice (Shelton et al. 2018). EBP should be accompanied by control and audit to check on its authenticity and relevance with the changes in times. The healthcare arena is dynamic and demanding every day, which provides the need for the constant review to allow sustainability across the demands of the new age. Also, the gaps established in the EBP should be addressed to deal with the limitations that can allow the health care systems to attain sustainability. Deficiencies in the EBP can be occasioned by gaps and provide gaps for further exploration. Modification of a proposed solution after implementation can be done through a problem-based approach to correct the limiting factors while planning to remedy the implementation’s shortcomings. The problems are identified and documented. The practitioners brainstorm for remedies and implement the most viable solutions.
