D 1-3: Define the set of services to be provided by the hospital.
The hospital is provided specialized services in:
- Maternity services and Newborn Care to include antenatal care, delivery and postnatal care and Caesarean section for the mother.
- Surgical services, both elective and emergency surgeries, reconstructive surgeries, among others.
- Medical services that include the diagnosis, management and follow-ups sessions for any medical condition.
- Accidents and Emergencies.
- Rehabilitative services, such as physiotherapy.
- Obstetrics and Gynecology that includes preconception care, family planning, post-abortion care, medical conditions existing in pregnancy and gynaecological conditions involves all the conditions that affect the women reproductive health issues.
- Psychiatric and Mental Health care, including psychiatric in-patient and outpatient services, psychotherapy, psychiatric emergencies and many more.
- Maternal and Child Hospital that will offer services like immunization, antenatal care and also a child welfare clinic.
- Dental services to include bonding, bridge and implants crowning, filling and repairs, tooth extraction, gum surgery and denture fixation.
- Laboratory services to include full hemogram, complete blood count, urinalysis, HIV/AIDS testing and counselling and blood donation many more.
- Medical diagnostics and imaging, including Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Computed Tomography (CT scan) and x-rays.
- Covid-19 testing and case management.
