The document is all about the early oral and writing cultures; this depicts the types and the methods used in the early oral and writing culture. The narratives allude to the traditional culture and how those deviated from rules given out would be held responsible. The narratives also show humankind, supernatural beings such as God and the devil in older societies.

The audience of the three stories seems to be supper beings, which are the gods. As evident in the “Dulcitus” after Agape, Irena, and Chionia were dedicated before them to be judged. He has a conversation with the soldier, where he says that he is involved with the three ladies brought before him. After that, he orders the soldiers to lock them in the inner room where the pans and the pots are kept. Later he tells the soldiers to torch him to wherever the ladies were, and he says that he will enjoy himself in the lovely arms of Chionia, Irena, and Agape. The original audience is seen when he arrives where the frying pan and the pots are, and she starts talking alone, and the three ladies witness him talking to himself, and he also smears himself with soot without knowing. And when coming out, he looks like a ghost, where even his soldiers are afraid of him.

According to the “Snow in The Midsummer,” the audience also seems to be the factory owner in the parched where the businesswoman who intends to take the factory is prevented. She is prevented from taking the factory because an angry ghost torments her daughter. After this action, it’s said that the factory owner must expose the injustices suffered by Dou Yi before the curse destroys everything.  According to Ordo Virtutum, the audience is the super-being who is the devil, where it’s evident that the devil has taken the human soul who is Anima. Now she addresses the devil on winning back her soul.

The “Dulcitus” and “the ordo Virtutum” talk about humankind’s relationship and supernatural beings. In Dulcitus, the three ladies, that is, Irena, Chionia, and Agape, believe in God the supernatural being, while the others, including Dulcitus, Diocletian, and others, believes in the other gods. Due to the powers that Diocletian and the likes have, they seem to be forcing the other three ladies to start worshiping their gods. The three ladies refuse the conviction, and they are now sent to Dulcitus to be tortured to worship the small gods. Before Dulcitus could torture the three ladies, the most superior rose against him, and he nearly became mad when he started smearing himself with the soot.

In the Ordo Virtutm, there is a contradiction between the two beings that is the Hildegard and the Ordo. Both are competing for supremacy, and hence when one creates something, the other is there either to add on the same thing created. Else he is entitled to create a different work that is more advanced than the other. The narratives are unique in the sense that some of the characters are depicting some supernatural powers. Also, the narrative involves supernatural beings who can never be seen by humankind. The other thing is the format of action or presentation. The narratives are acted in extraordinary environments.

The two narratives are similar in the sense that they both involve supernatural beings. In Dulcitus, there is God and the gods, both of them supernatural beings, while in the Ordo Virtutum, there is the devil as the supernatural being. Also, the two narratives are addressing issues, and this makes them similar. The differences between the two narratives are in the formulation mode, where Dulcitus has more characters than Ordo Virtutum. Another difference is on supernatural beings wherein the Dulcitus, the supernatural being involved, is God. In the other narrative, which is the Ordo Virtutum, the supernatural being involved is the devil.

The reactions between humankind and the supernatural beings are noted somewhere to be referred to later. In the Snow in Midsummer, this is the history; there existed a lady named Dou Yi who was killed even after vowing that she was innocent. All these actions were led by the owner of the factory at the parched. The injustice that this lady went through it led to the downfall of the owner of the factory. In the Dulcitus, it’s evident of the firm and healthy relationship between God and the three ladies (Chionia, Agape, and Irena) which could never be shaken by the other worshipers despite their powers. All this shows history recorded in books to be visited and viewed by others to get moral lessons.

The Snow’s concerns in Midsummer is the ghost revealing the injustice done to Dou Yi in the latter days. This translates to the young girl’s tormenting belonging to the businesswoman who had linkages with the factory owner. The script readers should be ready to rectify whatever part they feel like they are problematic. The implication in Thyestes is that some perish for power; for example, these two brothers killed Chrysippus, a half-brother to Thyestes and Atreus, just because of power. Where for this action, the two brothers are sent away by their father for killing their half-brother.

The two brothers flee and seek refuge in Mycenae, where after once they ascend again and Thyestes becomes the king of Olympia. The other implication that comes forth is that of respect. This is evident when Thyestes and his brother are sent out of the family by their father; they don’t decline, but they respect their father. This is because it was their fault for killing their brother, and they ought to be punished by being sent away from the homestead. This protects them from the curse that may have befallen them after the refusal of obeying their father, but instead, a blessing follows them where they all become kings.

In conclusion, the excellent culture shown in the early cultures should be emulated, and those that turn out to be evil should be shunned out. Also, the struggle for powers should be made without killing another only due to the quest for powers.
