Community involvement
In any care setting, there is always a need to promote the effective delivery of services offered to the clients. Such promotion cannot happen without adopting techniques that delve into innovation and creativity among the employees in the workplace. In my adult care practice, I have integrated several elements to promote innovation and creativity positively. One of the main ways is by developing useful feedback and suggestion procedures. Feedback and suggestion procedures allow clients to offer feedback about the quality of services they receive at the organization (Lambert, 2015). Employees can also make complaints about service delivery issues. These elements allow me to develop ways that ensure that gradual improvements are made across the practice. They also help improve openness and speedy response to problems that could threaten clients’ welfare in the care setting. Responding to their needs and complaints is critical in improved service delivery.
Apart from employing feedback and suggestions procedures in my practice, I also ensure that the community is involved in improving clients’ outcomes in adult care. Community involvement is one of the vital elements that can help shape various programs created for people in society. Such involvement aims to attract the people’s input and gather the information that could be used to gather information about some of the gaps in care that exist in adult care. Collecting such information is critical in policy development and program creation within the practice. I also use outreach programs and conduct liaison with other adult care facilities at the community level. These initiatives aim to learn more about the current trends in adult care in the UK, promoting quality service delivery in these settings.
