1.0 Change is an inevitable thing taking place in all domains. Business is also another sector affected by either internal or external factors. The spike of covid 19 really affected various organizations and their workability’s same as the product. Existing theories and objectives clearly define business change among us: a good example, Lewis Force Field model, and strategic interventions.
1.1 Change interventions -Strategic intervention brings changes in the organization and its relation to the environment (Krishnadas.2020). Change intervention is development relating organization depending on the individual group or general levels of organization that facilitates the change initiative implementation.
1.2 Lewins Force Field model is part of strategic management that tries to fight for business and ensure that it responds to the marketing environment in which the operational activities take place.
In lewins, there exist forces that drive change and push restraining it. In a place where there is constant equilibrium between two pieces of forces, no change will be seen. For change to happen, the driving force should overpower the restraining force. We can use Lewin’s analysis to check for the balance of power that is part of the issue, identify key stakeholders’ issues, and change the targeted crowd. A business has to be ready to face the challenges of the external environment.
2.0 The covid caused several effects to the organization, one, causing unemployment. Due to lower business output getting finance to go, all the employers’ wedges will be difficult, making organizations employ fewer workers.
3.0 The productivity rate will also reduce because stress is another effect coming with coronavirus. Based on existing research in every 5 affected with corona, one will always be stressed that a stressed employer will give less output.
The organization is shifting to negative change because of lower productivity levels and less productivity because the supply chain is affected.
Positive impact-The coronavirus led to the improvement of online marketing. The most transaction had to take a mobile wave, boosting technology and business transactions.
Negative—Lower production and massive job loss
The sick workers spent big time in hospitals leading productivity, and stigmatization has also caused disunity.
4.0 Lewins Force Field Model can be applied to understand covid 19 situations. The covid 19pandemic, in this case, will act as the marketing environment. It helps explain the strategies management that tries to fight for business during such conditions and adapts the business to such a harsh environmental environment.
5.0 The best way to overcome such is by making positive core values. This is to eradicate negativity. Inserting something equally powerful to the environment will combat it.
It gives complete transparency, counteracting this as a leader by giving complete transparency throughout the company.
Lastly is empowering individuals to innovate, negative-buster will help encourage and empower personal people for innovation.
6.0 When an organization is in its difficult state, it may undergo restructuring, which usually involves capital structure change to reduce debts and retain the usual production rate. Corona virus has really affected various organizations. The choice taken by each organization determines the standpoint.
