5.2. Developing Problem Statement and Questions
Chaburich Digital Interventions is leading network and digital services providers for a long time. The quality of service the company provides relies on the competency and effectiveness of the employees. Past reports of employee performance site human factors such as stress, fatigue, and depression as significant contributors of poor performance of the employees in the company. The purpose of this section of the project proposal is to establish the problem statement and the research questions.
The problem to be addressed in the study is that reports of employees’ levels of the human factors that have a negative impact on their ability to perform their duties and responsibilities are increasing. Performance appraisal employee feedback reports continue to indicate a rising trend of employees who are unable to meet work deadlines, meet customer satisfaction, and whose absenteeism is currently are cases before the disciplinary and counseling department. As a result, the company continues to count unprecedented losses as a result of the negative impact of the human factors affecting the expected effectiveness of the employees. Further, an analysis of the company’s risk ration indicate that if the companies address the human factors, the performance of the employees in a department with lower levels of fatigue, depression and stress perform better than employees with higher levels of fatigue, stress and depression.

- How do human factors such as stress, depression, and fatigue affect performance of the Chaburish Digital inventions Ltd?
- What interventions can Chaburish put in place to manage the human factors to restore and achieve a consistent growth in performance and productivity?
- Does Chaburich have effective mechanisms and procedures of dealing with employees diagnosed or suspected with stress, depression, and fatigue, and determine the risk ratio?
Hypothesis
Human factors such as stress, fatigue, and depression have a significant negative impact of performance and risk ratio in Chaburich Digital interventions Ltd.
