Face Masks Are Again in Short Supply as Covid-19 Cases Surge
The spread of Covid -19 has put strains on the supply of surgical face masks. Some countries did not alert their citizen to sew multi-layer cloth face masks as contingency masks for the emergency worker. The recent rise in Covid-19 cases increases the demand for surgical face masks; thus, the supply is higher than the demand. N95/FFP2 boxes were at risk of being empty for a few days due to the low supply. The Czech Republic was forced to incorporate the cloth face masks due to the surgical face mask (“Face Masks Are Again in Short Supply as Covid-19 Cases Surge”, 2020). In some countries, the issue of insufficient masks was due to unexpected infections resulting from citizens failing to adhere to covid-19 control measures.

Financing UK companies through Covid-19
The rate of Covid-19 infections leads to a sharp decline in the economic activities that affected companies’ cash flows. Approximately $135 billion of cash flow deficit for the financial year 2020-21 was experienced in the large and mid-sized UK companies. Companies are now raising funds via external finance methods to give them liquidity to help them remain concerned. However, they still additional liquidity and the ideal source of finance is equity finance. The companies consider the Venture Capital method to raise money through high net worth individuals who are willing to invest in their company (“Financing larger UK companies through Covid-19 | VOX, CEPR Policy Portal”, 2020).

The global partnership is essential to segment in the business model. Unilever’s growth is associated with its ability to impact society and reduce the environmental footprint positively. The organization work with several stakeholders like UN agencies, foundations, social impacts investors, and non-governmental and governmental organizations to help the less fortunate. The partnerships take advantage of the scale and breadth of the business to make the difference sustainably and systemically and align with the sustainable living plan of Unilever Company. The partnership with several stakeholders positively impacts nutrition, food security, women empowerment, and sustainable agriculture (partnerships, 2020).

British America Tobacco is one of the largest companies in the United Kingdom. One of the crucial requirements of its marketing principle is that it’s marketing mainly focuses on adult consumers and is not designed to appeal and engage children. This kind of industry needs to be regulated. The company should have reliable communication with adult consumers regarding nicotine products and tobacco (“British American Tobacco – Marketing our products responsibly,” 2020). Besides, the company has the responsibility of providing meaningful and transparent information regarding the products’ risk profiles to help consumers come up with informed decisions. The company follows International Marketing Principles that guide essential aspects of marketing.

Why the UK is the ideal destination to start your business
An entrepreneur needs to consider business location when starting up a business. The UK is widely known to be the business hub, especially London, a leading city in finance and business. The UK was the leading the ideal country for business in 2018. Besides, there are several business opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs. There is a low cost associated with starting up a business; combining them with the conducive entrepreneurial environment has contributed to the country’s high ranking. The British government provides several schemes that give tax benefits, grants, and advice to aspiring entrepreneurs. For instance, the grants from the Regional Growth Fund Programmes are run by national and local governments (“Why the UK is the ideal destination to start your business – Company Bug,” 2020).
