Chapter forty-seven of this story has a lot of uncertainty. The narrator has just been taken from her home, and she could not tell whether she was going to a good place or a bad place. However, according to the ending and the events of the previous chapter, the narrator was going to a place where she did not like, and the other characters in the story did not like. She does not know the person who called the men for her, but she had done something bad. The men might be policemen from the need for the “warrant” that the commander asked for. Therefore, the next chapter would determine is the Narrator was going to come back home or not.

Immediately after being taken from her home, the narrator would spend a lot of time thinking about what might happen to her where she was going and why she was going there. In the van, before reaching the destination, the narrator of the story would tell out the thoughts, feelings, and fears. The narrator would even describe how she cries in the van or how she becomes strong all of a sudden because she did not know what was going to her. It could have been something worse or better, according to her expectations. In the next chapter, the readers expect that the narrator would not put any resistance to the two men who took her and that she would mostly reflect on her life back and the people she has left behind. Specifically, the narrator would think about the good things, Nick, who seemed to be her friend and she would also think a lot about Cora and how she had let her down.

Another thing that is most like to take place in the next chapter is that the narrator would be taken to confinement and while there, she would try to compare the confinement she was in back at home to the confinement she currently. Among the thoughts that the narrator would have had suicidal thoughts just like she had before being taken by the two men.
