Nettavisen is a news outlet which mainly works in the Norwegian sector. This online news sector got digitalized in recent time, since 1996. This newspaper covers the news about sport, finance. This paper always works on the content to serve the audiences or the readers in a more profound way. They are the first among all the news portals who starts to publish the content related to the Scandinavian issues (Sánchez-Riofrío, Guerras-Martín, and Forcadell, 2015). And in recent years they release all the articles related to any material in their online portal area. Their technological leverage is grown over the years to maintain the ground in the news market. In recent year, the newspaper of Nettavisen has started to use the data-driven business model in their work. This business model more focuses on the user buying pattern which is excessively essential in the market. This model helps the firm to stop the data leakage threat and raise more strategy to develop the opportunities arising from data-drove business management. This method of data driven business strategy helps the firm to know more about the wanting of the audience, about what they exactly need in their daily news feed, the firm provides this more securely and accurately. This process also helps to raise a strong journalism story with so much data in the portal; also it creates the business process that helps to identify new products which can be useful in the business model of Nettavisen and about the services which they provide to its audiences or readers. Using this business model in the firm of Nettavisen helped a lot to grow more authentic brand value concerning its rival companies. This also helped to establish a more trustworthy business name in a more strong prospect. After implying this business model in the business model, the firm became more attracted to the readers. All this helped the company of Nettavisen to establish a competitive process in their business model. The competitiveness among the firm maintained a lot to gain more advantage in respect of the rival companies, who are also trying to imply the business model from the data driving. The competitive advantage f the Nettavisen can be seen as a freedom of their content, there is no boundary in their content which they are publishing in the long term, which means the company has no journalistic legacy to protect. The competitive advantage of the company helped them to secure their place in the market of news of Norway, about the legacy newspaper which is working in the market from a long time, and even with the new media players like Google or Facebook. These two media players are famous in the world, but it has so many rules or filters on the news they publish which is not present in the news sector of the Nettavisen (Lee, Kirkpatrick-Husk and Madhavan, 2017). The other competitive advantage regarding the legacy newspaper and new media payers like Facebook or Google can be seen as; the newspaper’s online portal helped a lot to create more bloggers site which allows publishing more authentic and unknown content in the entrance, which attracts the audiences into their news site. They use the highly controversial strategy of mixing commercial content and editorial content in their news area. The publishers who are publishing the material has so many bloggers in their area which helps to get a clear view which news will be valid in the next day which makes the company one step ahead in comparison with the other news portals(Zaki, Bøe-Lillegraven and Neely, 2016). The Nettavisen is highly acceptable by the audiences in Norway which creates a massive market for them, and huge audience attracts even more huge advertisements which help the company to achieve more profit in respect to its rival news portals. That news portal is mainly famous for its no filter news, is one of the reasons to attract more audiences, who love to read about news which is more authentic and has no influence. Thousands of bloggers are providing their content to the news portal which automatically makes the Nettavisen more attracted to the readers in comparison with the legacy news portals and new media players like Google or Facebook.
